Which players have earned spots in the expert's EPL Team of the Week?

Following each set of Premier League fixtures throughout the campaign, expert commentator Troy Deeney shares his selections and manager of the Week.

Presented here are this week's selections. What's your opinion? Let us know via the comments form at the bottom.

Goalkeeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers were close to being six goals down at Bournemouth without him. Massive moment, stepped up and displayed real class. Superb shot-stopping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their campaign.

Defenders

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for player of the season. Fans mention Arsenal's squad. He's been the standout player by a country mile.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'Murillo will score and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten massive odds on that. He was excellent. He is turning into a force. He can really be a handful. I'm happy to observe his form like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him a few times earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled due to errors. Yet now he's impressed greatly. He displays great strength and powerful and appears graceful. It looks like he has secured a perfect fit.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a defender, leaning towards a contemporary style in attack. He's been a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them finding another gem from obscurity? I thought releasing Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand better than most.

Central players

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they're in for the same reason. Their teams won, everyone will talk the scorers, but lacking these players the sides struggle. They excel. They halt attacks, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Numerous supporters, including my son, expressed skepticism if he could be the man to secure victory. A hat-trick in the north London derby and currently fans desire to erect a monument of him. Scoring, calmness, he controlled the game. The best player on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is point of agreement with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it's going to be extremely tough to drop Morgan Rogers. I felt his beginning was strong this campaign, I believe he was a little bit entitled and hoped he might have got a move to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he has settled down. Two superb finishes obviously against Leeds dragged his team from a deficit. He made the impact.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he seemed lacking his normal self. He looked like he'd lost a yard. But wow. Simply phenomenal. He performed superbly. Brilliant in his play and through his scoring.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He plays well, usually better off the bench, but due to Gordon's absence so he is required to feature. He missed a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. But to have the mental fortitude to put himself in challenging moments and get a brace was impressive.

Manager

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and outperforms Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It might have been multiple goals for Forest and nobody could have argued.
